We do one thing, and, do it well – window film.  We are a 3M Prestige Window Film Dealer, having installed film on thousands of residential and commercial buildings. 

3M invented window film, and the product has been used for decades to:

Window film upgrades existing glass for up to 70% less than the cost of replacing your windows. The product is guaranteed by 3M for as long as you live in your home for residential clients and for 10 to 15 years for commercial clients.

WHEN WE STARTED

3M invented Window Film in the 1960s and has upgraded millions of buildings over the last 50 years.  Recent innovations include non-metalized, daylight redirecting and Low-E film, and thanks to 3M’s leadership, we see plenty more coming.  

Layr was founded in July 2015, with a goal of innovating and driving leadership in the historically staid industry of Window Film.  Our team, partners, and list of clients continue to grow – we’re here for you today and well into the future.

WHERE WE’RE BASED

We’re an NYC based company with sales, support, and installation professionals across the Northeast.  We’ve serviced residential and commercial clients across the country. 

Our corporate office and showroom is in the Chelsea district, but ultimately our work is done at your home or office, at your convenience.

Our business is consultative in nature, so if you are interested in learning more, simply drop us a line.  We understand that your needs are unique, so we’ll come see you at your convenience, 6 days a week. 

Our installers are licensed, insured, and we have inventory to cover any job, usually within two weeks.  You’ll notice performance benefits immediately.
