Meet the Layr Team

William is the Founder and CEO of Layr, responsible for driving and managing the business.  A graduate of Charleston Southern University and a Chartered Financial Analyst, William brings a wealth of investing and operating experience across various industries and company life-cycles.

Dan is a seasoned sales professional with almost 40 years of experience.  At Layr, Dan is responsible for generating new residential and commercial business in New York City. A native ofDetroit, Dan’s previous experience includes the management of an automotive dealership and the founding of Greenwich Home Mortgage. A US Marine Corps Veteran, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife of 38 years and their three daughters.

The proverbial jack of all trades, Rob is experienced with estimating, quoting, scheduling and installing. He has experience executing both local and national projects.  Rob was previously a project manager in the telecommunications industry.  Rob grew up across the river in Teaneck, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Marywood College.  A former college lacrosse player, Rob enjoys watching football and baseball, enjoying the streets of Hoboken, and live music.

Sue is responsible for scheduling and coordinating Layr’s installations.  Her constant focus on client satisfaction, and getting the job done, is well known by any and all of our customers.  Sue brings decades of professional experience to Layr, having previously worked in similar capacities for Conde Nast in Manhattan.  A mother of two, Sue was born and raised in Brooklyn, where she lives to this day.

Chris is an experienced Project Manager, responsible for the coordination and execution of large-scale commercial window film installation projects.  Chris joins the Layr team after 10 years with the Bose Corporation, where he was responsible for project management and the buildout and oversight of numerous retail stores.  A native of Verona, NJ, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.

A native of Colombia and current resident of New York City, Boanerge is a window film installer on the Layr crew.  Boanerge is relatively new to the window film industry, but he has extensive experience working on buildings, most recently with Townhouse Management Company of New York, NY.  A tireless worker, Boanerge loves spending time with his wife and two adult children.

Anggelo is Layr’s Lead Installer and is in charge of managing and training Layr’s in-house installation crew.  A native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Anggelo has comprehensive expertise installing window film, graphics, distraction markers, and even wrapping cars.  Anggelo has extensive training and familiarity with site safety. As the OSHA competent person regarding lifts, scaffolding, building maintenance units (BMUs), and anything involving heights, Anggelo takes safety very seriously.  When he’s not leading his crew, Anggelo enjoys surfing, salsa dancing, and spending time with his family.

AJ manages Layr’s warehouse, coordinating inventory needs and logistics for the window film installation crew.  In addition, AJ manages the production process for custom-cut and printed materials, with an eye toward executing clients’ designs to perfection.  He is a native of Cheshire, Connecticut, and enjoys skiing, snowboarding, skating and music in his free time.

Winsley is a seasoned window film and graphics installer with more than 20 years of experience in the industry.  Having worked on some of New York City’s largest solar window film installations, he is knowledgeable about all products and techniques, and is one of the fastest installers around.  Winsley is a native of Guyana and has two daughters.
